More than 3,700 applicants from 17 countries attended RED Expo in Latin America
From March 9 to 11, the Russian Education Export Center held an online exhibition of Russian universities in Latin America. Applicants and recruiters from Mexico, Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador and other countries of Latin America attended the event.
All those who would like to get education in one of the leading Russian universities in the future were told in detail how to do it:
  • ITMO University, St. Petersburg.
  • Ural Federal University, Yekaterinburg
  • Sechenov Medical University, Moscow
  • Moscow Aviation Institute, Moscow
  • Saratov State Conservatory, Saratov
This time, in addition to higher educational institutions, the IT HUB college was presented at the online exhibition. The college was created on the basis of the Moscow International Higher School of Business MIRBIS for training and professional training in advanced international and Russian programs in the field of information technology. The college specializes in secondary vocational education and develops on the basis of close partnerships with global IT companies.
The exhibition was opened by the director of the EEC, Dmitri Nersesyan. In his greeting speech, Dmitri stressed the importance of the event for both potential international students and Russian higher education institutions, and also expressed gratitude for the cooperation of national partners in Latin America — Laura Aguirre and Andrea Escalera. He also expressed great gratitude to the representatives of Russian universities for their professionalism: they had to work in two sessions in the early morning and late at night due to the difference in time zones.
The exhibition presented various Russian educational institutions that may be of interest for getting higher education in various fields — medicine, music, engineering, information technology, and aircraft construction. The EEC also held a B2B session for international recruiting companies.
I want to thank the Education Export Center for organizing this event in Latin America. I would also like to express my deep gratitude to the representatives of the universities for their participating in the event and for the opportunity to learn more about the educational institutions and conditions of studying. I hope that our joint work will be productive and we will be able to send students to study in Russia.
